The past weekend, AS220 Labs partnered up with Haystack Mountain School of Craft and Deer Isle - Stonington Schools to put on a 3-day workshop in the fab lab. Faculty and Students of the school attended as well as Staff from Haystack - a total of 8 participants.
The workshop covered the basics of digital fabrication, the machines and software used in the field. Participants learned how to use programs like Adobe Illustrator and Inkscape to generate digital files that could be cut out on the machines.
